1. The service
Lumenwire is an online-only digital subscription tool that generates layered lighting plans, switch and socket logic, smart-device maps, scene presets, renders and day-to-night reveal videos from the room briefs you provide. The service is delivered entirely online as no physical goods commerce. We do not provide on-site work, installation, repair, inspection, testing or certification of any kind.
2. Planning references only — electrical safety
All outputs are planning references and creative inspiration. They are not construction drawings, wiring drawings, circuit designs or electrical engineering advice, and they do not constitute advice on wiring, circuits, loading or structural matters. Positions, counts and control logic are indicative and must be confirmed on site.
All actual electrical work — including wiring, circuits, switch and socket installation, fixture connection and any change to a distribution board — must be carried out by a suitably qualified and licensed electrician, and must comply with the electrical regulations applicable in your jurisdiction. You must not rely on our outputs to carry out any live electrical work yourself.
3. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 to use Lumenwire. Users aged 13–17 must have the consent of a parent or guardian and use the service under their supervision. The service is not intended for children under 13.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
5. Subscriptions, billing and renewals
- Plans are recurring subscriptions billed in USD (monthly or yearly) through Stripe.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Room allowances apply per billing month and do not carry over. There are no credit packs and no stored balance.
- You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- The billing statement descriptor is LUMENWIRE.
6. Acceptable use
Your use must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not present our outputs as professional electrical designs or construction drawings, or use them to quote or carry out work as though they were.
7. Your content and licence
You keep ownership of the briefs and files you provide. Licensing of your inputs and of the outputs you generate is set out in our Content License.
8. AI outputs
Outputs are generated with AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing them and for any decisions you make. See our AI Disclaimer.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features and plans may change; we will not reduce a paid benefit you have already been billed for without a fair remedy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HACKETT ELECTRICAL LIMITED is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on outputs as anything other than planning references. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
